Canadian Slovak League was founded more than 80 years ago and newspaper Kanadsky Slovak 70 years ago. CSL Conventions establish priorities and activities for the next three years. The three occasions were recently celebrated in Ottawa.

The Homelands Mass is anong the most original and colourful celebration of different nationalities in Canada. Slovaks had one of the largest delegation in national costumes.
In Ottawa, the month of October is well known in the Slovak community for the traditional and popular event: Oktoberfest - Dožinky.
The Slovak Embassy in Canada produced a delightfully different display of talent as part of its continuing series of exhibitions showing us Slovak cultural geniuses at work.
