70 members from Canadian Slovak League Branch 23 in Welland attended the spring luncheon on May 15, held at St. Anthony's Croatian Church hall. A lunch of chicken and salads was served.
In attendance was Kraska Brooke Atamanyk, who will be representing Br 23 at Slovak Day in Milton as well as Welland's Multicultural functions this year. Also in attendance were Maria Dinga, the new Secretary for the Head Office Board of Directors and Kristine Atamanyk, a new auditor for the Board of Directors. It was wonderful to have such a large group of members at the luncheon and it was a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon visiting with friends and family.
